Nicaragua - Yours to discover...
There are so many beautiful places to visit in Nicaragua. We went to the island of Ometepe, crossing the magnificent Lago De Nicaragua, then to Grenada, marvelled at the beauty of flowing lava at Masaya, and took a dip in the Pacific Ocean in San Juan Del Sur.
All of these places, they have one thing in common – beautiful Nicaraguans with their hospitality. They are friendly, and humble. They are the kind of people you can share a bus ride with in remote Ometepe and being offered a banana for a snack!
The other thing you see in Nicaragua is the lush green Forrest.
Food is great, the people are inviting, weather is warm, and ocean is calm, what more could you ever ask for in a destination?
You will also saw the visible poverty in Nicaragua. As you pass by you will wonder why am I here, what am I doing here? That’s the reason for our travels to Central America: we stay with locals, we buy food from locals, we make sure it’s a locally owned business before buying anything. I can’t count the number of times I bought fruits or food from the stands by the roadside (and sit on a bench and eat a yammie mango), when you spend locally you help the people live in that place.
Visit, travel, discover and enjoy all Nicaragua got to offer!
