El Salvador

El Sal. holds a very special place in our hearts, because this was our entry and exit point to a 6 week journey though El Sal, Guatemala and Honduras. And it was an amazing entry and exit.

We began in Toronto on a flight to El Salvador International Airport (Saint Oscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez Int) one night overnight at the airport and flight to Roatan Island Honduras. A new airline for us to fly – Avianca, a pleasant surprise. 

Our experience in El Sal is limited to El Tunko, a costal surf / party town. A fantastic 4 nights right on the beach!
